Ubiquitous

For some strange reason, LeBron James has felt compelled to chime in
about politics over the past couple years despite clearly not having
much knowledge in that area. The guy supported Hillary Clinton. Tells
you pretty much all you need to know.
Recently, LeBron came out and said that Trump doesnt care about
people. Which is weird because the people of Ohio, LeBrons home state,
voted for Trump. Clearly, they feel otherwise.
Shortly after that, Fox News Laura Ingraham came out and told LeBron
to stick to basketball.
From Breitbart:
Im numb to this commentary, Ingraham stated. Must they
run their mouth like that? A lot of kids and some adults
take these ignorant comments seriously. Look, there might
be a cautionary lesson in Lebron for kids: This is what
happens when you attempt to leave high school a year early
to join the NBA. And its always unwise to get political
advice from someone gets paid $100 million a year to bounce
a ball. Oh, LeBron and Kevin [Durant], youre great players,
but no one voted for you. Millions elected Trump to be
their coach. So, keep the political commentary to yourself,
or as someone once said, shut up and dribble.
The left freaked out and called Laura racist as usual and LeBron
responded with some nonsense about being some kind of Civil Rights
figure.
Fox Sports 1s Jason Whitlock took exception to that and put LeBron in
his place pretty easily.
Speak For Yourself
If LeBron really wants to be like Ali and MLK, he should
sharpen his point of view by engaging with his critics.

From The Daily Caller:
Whitlock, speaking on Tuesdays episode of his Speak For
Yourself podcast, called James assertions well intentioned
but laughable.
Its laughable. Its foolish. It cheapens the boldness and
courage it takes to truly compete in the marketplace of
ideas.
LeBron James is well-intentioned, but if he truly wants to
be a powerful voice on social issues, he needs to have his
sharpened by competing in the marketplace of ideas, Whitlock
flatly stated. Or he can remain blind to the simple things
he clearly doesnt know.
Heres the full clip.
Whitlock is absolutely right.
LeBron is doing a disservice to people like Martin Luther King and the
Civil Rights leaders who put their lives on the line for a noble cause.
A lot of this is the medias fault. They are the ones pretending that
LeBrons political opinions matter. How many factory workers in Akron
do you think LeBron has sat down with lately to talk about Trump? How
many welders in Alabama do you think hes asked about Trump? Has he
asked one of the millions of people who were given a bonus because of
Trumps tax plan if Trump cares about them? Hed probably feel a little
differently about his comments.
Its not racist to tell LeBron to stick to things he knows about. If he
wants to actually study the situation and learn a couple things before
chiming in thats a different story.
Supporting a candidate like Hillary and then claiming that Trump
doesnt care about people is almost too hypocritical to handle.

Dems & the media want Trump to be more like Obama, but then he'd
have to audit liberals & wire tap reporters' phones.
